Antonio Vega

Ph.D. student

Antonio Vega graduated with a B.Sc. degree from the University of Guanajuato, Mexico, back in 2017. After that, Antonio pursued an M.Sc. degree at the Autonomous Metropolitan University (Mexico) with a major in medicinal chemistry.

Antonio joined our group in September 2019, and he is currently investigating the structure-activity relationships between FOXM1 inhibitors and different linkers targeting the ubiquitin ligase 3 protein to develop drugs that could promote the degradation of the oncogenic FOXM1 transcription factor.
